Evening had a enjoyable lunch celebrating 50 years since my good pal John Conteh won his World Championship. John was slightly ahead of me with his career but we were together training every day for many years. It was a lovely turnout with many boxers from over the years and Muhammad Ali’s son did a special tribute. Guess what I won a boxing glove in a raffle!! Tonight I am going to watch some of John’s old fights and relive what a brilliant boxer he was. #sunday #lunch #1970s #legend

Morning another busy week. Big game for West Ham today. I have been asked to comment on the new England manager I am a former Boxer but as a England football fan as far as I am concerned if England can win competitions the elusive World Cup with some exciting football & give England the country the feel good factor we desperately need and there is NO one English who can do the job then lets get behind the new manager.
